Door projector light

I opened an Audi door and the Audi logo showed on the floor. Wondering this would be stock or not, I learned these projectors can come cheap via ebay or ali. But that Audi has stock normal lighting in it's door and of course a k11 hasn't.

Does anyone have door projector lights in it's k11? I am interested in a Nissan logo, preferably the blue and red one but the white one also will do.

These projectors are cheap and easy to mount. Modern car come with projectors but almost always without the logo, only light.

Yes that is why I am asking For real, I am sure this will be enjoyed by the people I invite in to my Micra but also by me.

How would they be activated though?

It's says in the eBay link, it's activated by a magnet you stick to the bottom of your doorway / the sill covers.

You could put the nissan logo in there with some clever use of a printer to block the light

It already comes with the nissan logo though

No worries @richardwbb, it's coming from China so will take 2-3 weeks to get here.

Once I get it I'll be sure to post some pics of how i've installed it. If it's successful ?

I've got a rough idea on how I may install it. But I'll let you know as soon as I get the item

I'm thinking about putting it inside the door tray thing (sorry I don't know the technical term) but it's where you put your bottles and I'm thinking about sticking it in there and then drill a hole for the projecter to shine through and drill a hole for the sensor to meet the magnet

I'm not sure I understand in full but this will be a nice meet again with the card board like moisture ridden door panel lacking screws and thus giving audible vibration noises

Surprisingly the projector lights came earlier than I expected, only took a week and I installed them today

And the result is awesome. My plan of cutting out the bottom part out by the door card has worked and you can't notice the projector light making it almost look factory.

That looks 10x better than I thought it would, the logo even looks 3D

Totally getting one of those, which one did you get and how big of a drillbit do I need?

Yep they do. I got them on eBay


And for the drill bit I don't know as I used dremel to cut the piece of trim out to fit the projector in
