Rear Bearing & hub removal

Hi All, I have an advisory on my MOT document which tells me that I need to replace the rear bearing hubs, soon as they are noisy. I have bought the rear bearing/ hub units from ebay including a 32mm socket And I have no idea how to remove the rear hub from its mounting once the hub nut has been removed. Could I apply the use of a hammer & chisel to knock the hub free from it's position without causing any damage to the rear brake assembly, or can you advise me on how its done.

Yours Peter0003

Remove the hub nut cover, remove hub nut (will be bloody tight), then to remove the hub just pull it off. You may need a hub puller, but I have always found you can just pull them off.
