Nissan micra 1.2 manual not starting p1611

I tried to start the micra I just got in as a part ex 2003 k12
When switching on the ignition KEY comes up in green but then there's a car sign with a key in it
Doesn't want to start have stuck in an obd2 reader to read p1611 and u1001
Car locks & unlocks with the fob but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.
A friend of mine who reprograms keys tried to reprogram the key and said the pin code keeps changing

Should I change the ecu bcm ignition barrel?

Yes sure we just replaced the steering column

Due to a ps issue

That’s why it isn’t starting. The steering column has a security. Read my post

got another problem/ hope some kind person can help
after about 5 mins of driving the red car symbal with key inside comes on.
but the car drives normal
i can swicth car of and on again the symbal dissapears ,but comes on steady again after about 5 mins

This is the car immobilise. Something in your system doesn’t match. Each electronic devise has a code, if one of them has been changed the codes do not match.

What have you done?

Just read down the post, you originally couldn’t start it. What did you do to get over this?
