Corsa piston build with throttle bodies

Made a plug for the dizzy, and bracket for the coil pack.....then stuck them both together

Tidied the loom up a bit......it’s now running purely on my stuff now. No more micra ecu or loom

Played about with the software a bit, there’s a setting for itbs which uses map and tps

Runs loads better, still idles like an angry muscle car........thAt cam is ridiculous lol
Drives normal then all of a sudden whole car sounds like it’s gunna rev itself to pieces

Need to weld the trigger wheel to a cg10 pulley........apparently the cg13 pulley has a rubber damper, which is gunna affect the timing I guess

Gunna sort the trumpet servo next, just ordered a reversible polarity relay for it, il activate it from a rev counter shift light

And get wideband wired in

Looking good. Bet its insane with those cams lol. Rember also if your ecu has 4 logic spark outputs, you could use it to trigger four bip373's which would then fire the later micra coilpacks.

Got my switch through.....jus need a rev gauge with a shift light to operate it

Can anyone point me in the direction for some better engine mounts, or a method for making the stock ones stiffer

Beings the acceleration is so ‘snappy’, the engine feels like it’s gunna rock out the bay

Wideband wired in

The ecu has its own controller built in.

Does anyone have the original micra spark map.....just for comparison

I have a 16X16 timing table that works well with mine. I'll export it from TunerStudio later for you when I get chance. You might just have to rescale it to whatever your ecu uses.

OK. All you need to do is load any project and go to the fuel tab, open fuel ve table and then click the green import table icon above the fuel table.

Got new stiffer mounts from hard race

They are much much stiffer, even by hand

Got gearbox mount too

I’ve been hearing a grinding noise whilst engaging the clutch whilst pulling away, took the hybrid clutch off fir a look

Plenty of meat on the plate still.......so just grind them the bolts maybe?

Replace the bolts in the friction plate with dome head cap heads perhaps?

Back in it goes.....again

Went for a drive with new mounts.....much better, and the clutch doesn’t grind now too after taking a smidge of the tops of the bolts

Still feels a bit wobbly when steering though

Anyway.....got a glitch with the tps-

Can’t be helping

Almost done with what I can do To it now, apart from cosmetic stuff

Gotta save the pennies for mapping now,!which won’t be till next year......getting married in December

I'd redo the wiring when you get chance then with a new 3core screened cable. On a coilpack the ground is connected to the coolant sensor also which can also cause issues if it's a bit dodgy. Not sure how it wired on the dizzy versions.

Haven’t used shielded wire for the tps.....il give that a go

I’m using a ford coil pack and deleted the dizzy

The car feels like it’s shaking/clunking above 50mph

Quite badly

Just had wheels balanced and tracking done

Garage bloke thinks it’s the drive shafts/inner cv’s

Drove fine till I’ve started using this engine.......can’t of destroyed the shafts already

I can wiggle them up and down, and I can feel a bit of movement, passenger side has more movement than the other

I take it there should be no movement lol ?

What else could it be

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There's a rubber vibration damper on the drivers driveshaft, at least that's what I was told it was by my dad. Couldn't be anything to do with that if balancing has been ruled out?

Cheers. , pretty quick so far, plenty more power to be squeezed out by a professional

Need to use a rev gauge with a shift light, the shift light will activate the servo in the itbs

Some reason the rev gauge only reads half the revs the engine is doing, no matter what I try on the software, it still reads half speed

Gunna use one of these.......

Tach converter for wasted spark, coming from the states, so god knows when it’ll show up.

So it’ll be, coils to tach converter, tach convertor to tachometer , tachometer shift light to reversible relay, relay to itb servo......

Thought about that, but I plan to operate the servo based on rpm.....but there’s no output on mine that’ll send a signal based on rpm

......not that i can find anyway

I would have thought there is, isn't it a megasquirt copy?
