Sport+ 05 Micra Stereo

Hi there,

I am looking to replace my car stereo with a double din one. Can someone tell me if that’s do-able and would be able to fit? I’m pretty sure it can I just need some advise before.
Many thanks.

Sorry, but that is not rough, that is horrendous:eek:. What did you trim the aperture with, a chainsaw??

As a more constructive comment to the original question, I assume that your 2005 Sport+ is the same as mine, fitted with the original radio and 6 CD changer. I 'm fairly sure that if you fit an after market double DIN unit you will lose the radio control functions of the steering wheel buttons, which I believe work through the ECU CAN bus. Also you run the risk of disrupting other ECU controlled features on the car if the CAN bus wires to the radio are not identified and isolated......

If you are happy with basic radio-CD unit functions, have you considered original Nissan stereo. I have this same with updated speakers and sub-woofer and that is enough for my needs ;)

As fitted in my car, that is the standard, original fitment to the 2005/6 Sport + Mika, which I assume the OP is intending to replace........shame it hasn't got an auxiliary input for a mp3 player, and/or a usb input.
