Nissan K11 engine swap

Hi I am new and was wondering what would be the best engine to put in my K11. Have a few options atm Subaru B4 audi nissan and toyota but was wondering what would the best/most powerfull engine be to put in. I was possibly thinking of putting in a Suzuki Hayabusa engine in there aswell. I am open to any suggestions.

Thanks :)

or an RX8 engine ? All these are on offer atm and was wondering what could work and what one will require the most work but what one will have the best pay off.

Custom engine loom/bell housing/clutch/flywheel... best engine? for what? a shiney hp figure? torque monster? Or bragging rights?

You can forget the subaru engine in a K11 not enough room at all

You've listed makes but no engines? You'll need more than just the engine as said above

Any engine is as powerful as you make it. Bike engine have poor torque figures so suffer on hills

Anything converted to rear wheel drive (rx8 engine) needs a floorpan rearrangement.
Same again for 4wd with the added work for the front.
Easiest 4wd job will be the pulsar conversion as its a standard SR swap with very little front work and a simple diff assembly mounted to the rear

Audi, Toyota I cant say without knowing what engine or drivetrain

awesome thank you. will I have to doalot of modification to the engine mounds if i get them ?
You're looking there at a lot lf work. It will be a space framed front end and it will require the bulkhead to be cut to allow a lart of the engine and gearbox to fit. After that it's fairly easy stuff

Last car I built like that that took a year just to get everything in place (working on it weekends only)
Took a couple of months to finish after that

Maybe we'll skip the 2JZ for now then eh.

Go for a simpler GA16/SR20 swap. Plenty of guides around I presume. The SR20 being more common than the GA strangely enough
Or even better a CG13?

I will have a look if i can find the engines :p I live in new zealand. so i need to have a look

I had a feeling a similar thing would pop up eventually :p

All in good time my friend ;)
Although the standard American engine is like a monstrous 5.4l V8... making 100hp... they are poor at building engines :D

I wouldn't bother with an RB lump in a Micra - unless you make room by chopping your legs off (plus it's heavy!)
I got one in the boot of a Fiesta - front wheels barely touched the floor and rear suspension bottomed right out :D

I'd most likely use the Zetec lump. Silver or Black (blacktop preferred) - simple, cheap and quite tune-able.
Can fit longitudinal or transversely.
