Well mums March failed mot today. As discs are £95 a pair and take a month to arrive and on top of that the caliper has seized (I believe its a jap spec one too) time has come to convert to uk spec to future proof and make it easier to maintain.

I tried all sorts of bonding/ glue/arildite etc and nothing worked. A friend used aquarium glass bonder and that worked. Easiest and least messy option is to find a scrap car and replace windows making sure the clips are solid on the scrap car. Winding the windows down with the clips unbonded...

44mpg for a low miles 2001 (non individual coil) March driven at 50-55 (24 mile return journey)mostly with a mix of up/downhills and a couple of 2 mile round trips to supermarket.

A google search of this number brings up reference to Nissan Almera II N16 , but the none of the Almera pads in my local garages Mintex and Apec catalogues matched, in fact, they didnt match with any Nissan in the catalogue
