    Just been sorting through a pile of ecu's and struggling to separate " chipped " from " non - chipped ". Question is this.... what numbers are on the " non - chipped " ecu's ??? As far as I know the #10 is and for the life of me I can't remember the other numbers Any help appreciated as always...

    Evening peeps some advice if you please ! I have a built engine that we use on the ovals ( racing ) and wondered if a nistune ecu would be worth using ?? At the moment we use a pre nats ecu which works well but have acquired a nistune type 4 board and would have thought it may run a tad better...

    Gearbox innards transplant ??

    Well here's the question Can the innards of a 1 litre box be transplanted into the casing of a 1.3 box ??????? Reason being we've cracked the 1 litre housing and haven't got another to use only a 1.3 available. Any thoughts welcome cheers

    Spoke to Geoff and he said basically cams just open / shut valves lol. Set them at 110 to start and check fuel mixture electrics etc. Got a non chipped auto complete so going to rob dizzy leads ecu t/b etc ay. What about fuel pressure would that cause probs ?

    So basically the cams are dialled in correct as standard settings as far as I can understand ay. What I can't seem to get my head around is why the rubbish running if all is set correctly. The ecu , dizzy , t/b , injectors , plugs , leads etc ran a " standard " engine spot on no problems at...

    evenin peeps just a quick question to throw out there. The crank pulleys on the 1 litre and the 1300 are different in weight , check Question is are the timing marks the same or different ? I.e. If you used for instance a 1 litre pulley on a 1300 and set it at tdc would it be a true setting ...

    A little update. Was running the injectors but changed them back to standard, changed the plugs, leads and dizzy seems a lot better general opinion was that it seemed to be running on two at tick over then all four when revving. Another play tomoz hopefully she will be singing a fine ole tune...
