Bit late to the party on this one, my 06 Sport+ had this issue, I thought it was blowing bulbs consistently but it turns out it would come and go. Always figured it was a loose connection, like said above, it was the bulb holder, giving it a good thump used it get it to come back on again...

Just got myself one of those Skunk2 knobs for my civic, having to send it back and re-order though as I ordered a brand new gunmetal 6 speed one, and got sent a black, used, 5 speed one... bloody ebay! But I will say, they are pretty good - didn't realise how something as simple as a new gear...

I suppose if the mileage is really important, then you could swap the part of the dials that stores it to your new set? Never cracked mine open so no idea how difficult that is!

I bet that's great fun at night! I'd say try it, I've no idea wether there's a way to change the mileage on them, so might be worth researching that. Not like the old days where you crack the plastic cover off and wind the clock back with a toothpick :P

Never done the swap myself, but I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that the mileage is stored in the clocks, so you'll get whatever mileage was on the donor car showing up.
