I found my book and here is what the flow bench read when testing the inlet side. I found that these proof the theory , lifting the valve more than a third of the head diameter doesn’t gain very much , unless you go bigger valves
I did all head work myself , loads of time spent
I’m doing a new head with bigger valves at the moment between other things , will be going on the flow bench again
Do you have any dimensions from the jenvey throttle bodies that people use on the micra ?
spacing between the bodies , what the size is the bore on the manifold side , is it the taper sf bodies most people use ???
this is the figures for the exhaust port , it made 152 bhp on the dyno ??? and i think there is a little more to come , as the janspeed manifold really isnt very nice
No all good here , although it is on coilovers on the back of that could make a difference
I am currently doing a design for independent rear end but that's along way off
Didn't think rear links were all that trick amongst all the other pictures ?
on a couple rallies when idling for a long time queuing for the start the temperature would rise as the fan and standard rad started to struggle
so i made a new rad
then i decided front panels are excess weight so got the grinder out again
then just aswell improve the engine mount and...
i haven't got the figures to hand as this was in 2015 and cant remember where i put my book
at this point i was checking lift difference to help make a choice of camshaft
