You may have to keep re-torquing the manifold to turbo nuts after a few heat cycles, that should help. Also I've read that V band may be the way to go for connecting pipework such as turbo to downpipe, may be worth a look?

Sounds like a combo of dodgy amp and bad earth on the headunit....run the headunits own ground wire (from loom) straight to a clean earthing point. See what happens.

The new 1L turbo from Ford, 125bhp and decent torque, only 3 cylinders and also extremely small and light. Better performance than the current 1.6L. Interesting technology: :)
