Don't know if you got this fixed but it's more than likely a bad earth at headlight or your dash clocks/ pod.

Wouldn't think so, unless you needed an in tank pump. That's the only real difference.

Ordered the Figaro tank and it arrived today...... Its identical to the ST. Also dealt with a guy on EBay, Figaro Club is his user name.He was a quarter the price of some clowns on there .Got quoted £220 from one... :eek:

Took out my tank as I thought I had a pinhole leak but it turns out I have about 7 large holes. New tank needed. The Figaro tank looks the same.Can anyone verify this for me guys.

Thanks Dave, that would be great. New fuel pump just arrived for mine today , so that's my first job for the weekend. Tank out and repair small pinhole leak as well..:)

Hi Dave, I am up the road a bit in Ballyclare , just outside Belfast. I have an ST that I am going to attempt to restore after sitting for a number of years.. Just trying to source any parts I may need, as I am sure you know they are becoming hard to find parts for..

Ecu back to life, car now running, no overheating so time to fit new vac line's.... YEE HA !!

Was hoping it wasn't the ecu as the chances of get one never mind a lend of one are virtually zero.....I will just have to keep trying other things....

I have started at the battery first. Fitted new battery terminals and cleaned up alot of the earth terminals but still have the problem. I know the leds are to flash codes to diagnose problems but this eractic idle is a bit concerning. I think i will check the dash wiring loom and ecu's.

Fixed the hole and removed the rust from the tank and rebuilt the fuel pump. Added fuel, new battery and crossed my finger's and turned the key...........it's alive again after 6 years sitting idle, but have a MAJOR problem. The idle is erractic, causing rev counter to jump but not a misfire...

Hi guys, i am trying to bring my st back to life after sitting up for a number of years but the petrol tank is in a bad way with a few holes,it would be easier to replace it but is it the same as a standard k10 or do i need a st tank.....thanks....ray
