Magnex Universal Backbox - 6x4 Oval Tip

I asked a couple of mates from the garage how big a job it is and they said there might be a bit of welding - I didn't tell them it was s/s though:doh: But it actually comes with a fitting kit, has all the clamps and bolts for fitting so maybe it won't need welding! I can take extra photos if...

Magnex Universal Backbox - 6x4 Oval Tip

Should do. I was intending on getting the local garage to stick it on my k12, they said it would be a quick job with a bit of welding. It's a very nice box. The inner pipe diameter isn't stupidly big, so there would be quite a nice note to it I'd imagine. And the oval tip fits nicely under...

Magnex Universal Backbox - 6x4 Oval Tip

Selling my unused stainless steel Magnex backbox and thought I'd put it up here first before ebaying it. It's a big one with a 6x4 oval tip. I have never fitted it to a car so it is in decent nick. The reason for selling is I'm going away to uni and leaving the micra at home so there's no point...

    my micra, the phoenix

If you want to make it look like a beach buggy you could get the standard wheels widened, I don't remember what you call the process of doing it, but saw it being mentioned in fast car a while ago. With stretched tyres and coilovers...*dribble*

    my micra, the phoenix

Wow, the dual tips look beastly with the standard bumper! I like what you've done to the wheels, I painted my plastic wheels gold for a laugh a few weeks ago because my mate got some vinyl covered alloys on his polo. He's got a picture of us parked next to each other, I'll see if I can...

    my micra, the phoenix

Must have been pretty pee'd off after all the hard work you've put in. How does the dual exhaust sit now with the standard bumper? Picture?:grinning: I'll be getting my exhaust done soon; fancy a single oval shaped one, just peeking out a bit.

Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of weeks, had 9 a-level exams  Anyway, my new plan is to get hold of another airbox (PM me if you've got one spare!!(Y)) and cut it so I just have the part that holds the air filter in place, like in the induction kit: Then it will look a bit...

    Bodge Job Induction Kit

there's no chance of water getting in unless you stick a house pipe under the bonnet:laugh:. there's a nice roar, smoother acceleration and possibly improved mpg (definatley no decrease in mpg)! you can find the alu pipe on ebay for a £5 per 1/2 meter i think it was, just search for air intake...

    Bodge Job Induction Kit

Hi, well what I did was take the airbox completely off, as you would to change the air filter, and now the filter is held tightly in place with wire. The air feeds are about 3-4 inches from the filter. My reasoning for two feeds was basically: the more air I can get to reach the filter, the...
