Standard ECU or modded?

Fair enough... Waiting on a response from Piper anyway but was more concerned about the combination and if it would work - I know upgrades need a different map to an extent but it's not exactly running 160bhp (yet...)

Just bought a 4-1 exhaust system for my micra as it was cheap... Thinking of getting some road cams from Piper - minimal gain but better than nothing at the moment. Anyone think of any running issues with the ECU? Engine is standard as they get at the moment.

Hadn't thought of that... I don't have much luck with CVs at the moment. My Civic needs them replacing and now thr Micra. Ah well. Got a new set of bushes on the way so will try them if not, CV joints it is

Finished the season now and did the last hillclimb in September, managed to get a 41.27 second time which is just over 3 seconds off the fastest time of the class that day. Got a 42 second run with 2 missed gears - full chat in 2nd to 1st - TWICE!... (ouch!!) Car awaiting prep for 2012

Try ebay and search for KYB Shocks. Just got some for my Honda Civic and cost about £140 for the pair with postage to Guernsey. That's just the struts though, no springs.

I know it's a bit of a long shot to be honest but I'm after a set of throttle bodies (bike set-up) with inlet manifold. Not too bothered it they come with injectors but upgrading my motor over the Winter and so far i've mentally spent £2k... OUCH... So rather than buying new, I'm budgeting...

No-one told me that. Never mind... gearbox out again tomoro night, least I can see the internals of the gearbox itself and see if anythings broken inside. Shouldn't be... Hey ho... lesson learnt for next time. :wasntme:

have found the problem... all the bearings with the splines to put the shaft in have fallen inside the diff... is this normal? Needless to say I am really f***ed off bigstyle after spending all weekend doing the swap and now half of it has to come back out again!
