    Huge driver door gap

Apologise for the late reply, had another baby last week so been a bit busy! I'll definitely look back on this and investigate it further when things calm down a bit! [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G780F using Tapatalk

    Rear hub bearing separated.....

Just say this notification in my junk email, quick update: I took the hub off again and the bearing came off the axel this time and was nicely fitted back as one piece! It felt smooth and there was grease there so I put it all back together and will keep an eye (or ear) on it but it seems to...

    Rear hub bearing separated.....

Thanks for the reply, I might need to open it back up and have a closer look. It seemed to turn pretty nicely when I put it all back together, but since re-assembly I've looked on these forums and think I should have also torqued up the main nut properly as I didn't think about the risk of it...

    Huge driver door gap

There is a huge gap in the drivers door on my K12 on the handle side, and it's really tight on the other. I suspect it's been based and badly adjusted at some point. Is there an easy way to adjust this gap? You can hear and feel the wind rushing in when driving, almost feels like a window is...

    Rear hub bearing separated.....

Hi, the rear wheels were sometimes locking up when the micra had been parked for a week (or even 2 days), sorted it out with a few whacks off a wooden block and mallet, but thought I'd take the drums apart for a clean-up. Managed to get the drum off yesterday but I think the bearing separated...

2010 White Micra - very dull and matt paint!

Thanks for the comments, so far I've been able to get all of the black/brown spots off it by clay barring and using G3 Colour Pro restore on my 450w random orbital sander and cheap soft pads (definitely too soft). Photos below are not great but I think the first one shows quite well just how...

K12 Heavy Steering, no dash lights 1st post!

Not sure that "best and cheapest" often go hand-in-hand, but I've used this one on my K12 that works fine for reading and re-setting codes, only a tenner...

Speakers install in K12 front and rear - quality

I don't know what the power output for this unit is (usually quoted as "4 x RMS watts", perhaps another user who has it can comment on it's abilities to power multiple speakers! Might be worth googling the model number to see what the output is.

Speakers install in K12 front and rear - quality

What stereo are you using? My experience of car and home hi-fi systems over the years is that the amplifier is more important than the speakers, I've had a £1000 amp with cheap speakers that sounds a lot better than £1000 speakers with a cheap amp. I would always upgrade the amp before the speakers.

2010 White Micra - very dull and matt paint!

I just bought a 2010 White Micra and after washing all the black spots off (possibly artillery fungus - total nightmare), clay barring etc. I noticed the paint is super dull, like flat white and this isn't deliberate (inside doors is shiny). I suspected it was just oxidation from UV so went over...

K12 Heavy Steering, no dash lights 1st post!

Hi, I checked it out last night and looks to me like the bolts holding the ignition to steering column are original snap-off type, good tip! Is there anything else I can check/try/lubricate etc? I was looking through the cars history and 1000miles ago it had new front suspension arms, coils...

Thanks for the advice, where would I find the ignition bolts? I'm located near Durham.

K12 Heavy Steering, no dash lights 1st post!

Thanks for the quick reply, is there any way of me telling that the unit has already been changed? I could probably live with it staying heavy (although it's my wife's car but she hasn't started driving it yet so might have a different opinion), I'm most worried about it being an early sign of...
