    My 1990 Nissan Pao

Another way to source hard to find parts is on Jauce.com just search for "pk10" or "nissan PAO" under yahoo auctions

    My 1990 Nissan Pao

You should join the Nissan PAO forum on Facebook. I believe there is a guy in the UK breaking down his PAO and selling all the parts.

Rear Hatch Glass Lift Supports Replacement DIY

Undo the ball stud on the window side with a 10mm. As it breaks loose, you'll have to hold the black metal piece on the outside of the window. It should come right off. Then on the body side it just comes off with a phillips head screw driver. To get the ball stud out of the old strut I just...

    North American PAO owners

This car is built on the K10 Nissan Micra chassis which was sold in Canada. However, the Canadian one came with the MA12S (1.2L) and the PAO has the MA10S (1.0L). The oil and fuel filter can be bought from the parts store (Bosch 3400 oil filter) (fuel filter TWD BF932 at NAPA). Distributor...

Convert a Pao to left hand drive.

The Facebook PAO group is really active if you want a lot of people to chime in. It's possible. There are a couple people on the forum that have them converted. One was from the Philippines. It would be a serious job, I would think having to modify the dash. It's a K10 Micra platform and the K10...

K10 idle drops very low with AC on

If you haven't already, I would suggest replacing all your vacuum hoses. They can lead to major idling issues.

You should get on the Facebook PAO forum. People are really active and helpful there. I've found this forum to be pretty dead.

Rear Hatch Glass Lift Supports Replacement DIY

UPDATE: I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I had to make sure the glass came up on it's own. I upgraded to the 20 pounds of force lift supports and now the glass raises up perfectly and holds! Link for the ones I ordered below... https://www.amazon.com/inch-Prop-Springs-Struts-Heavy/dp/B00Y3H183O

Rear Hatch Glass Lift Supports Replacement DIY

I figured I'd post how I replaced my rear hatch struts, since the parts are pretty easy to come by, and it's an easy fix as long as you have a rotary tool. I bought the ball studs that are specifically for hatch struts on eBay. The size was 10mm M8 X 1.25 thread. The gas struts were 20 inches...

Yes. I bought the rear shocks (which came with new bump stops and bushings) on roackauto and the front shocks I bought on eBay. I had to buy new bump stops and bushings for the front from Amayama in Japan. The K11 shocks are a little stiffer, which is what I installed for the fronts on my car...

    Dimming Day/Night Mirror

I didn't see anyone mention this, but I thought I would let everyone know that I bought a day/night rearview mirror from a 1985 Nissan Sentra which I swapped the PAO arm onto and it fit just fine, the swivel ball was the same size. I actually could have just bolt it right up, since the arm is...

    Ivory PAO qs

I've been working on mine the last couple days; I had no reverse lights and my cooling fan wasn't coming on. I have that same plug hanging under the drivers side also, it must be for an accessory our cars don't come with. The reverse light problem for me ended up being two things, the switch...

NEW OWNER :-) - Parts required...

I figured I'd add my two cents to this post. I just bought one and found numerous parts that are worn and I intend on replacing. I found Amayama carries almost everything (although pricey). I do try and cross reference to the K10 Micra and get things from Canada as I'm in the states. Anyways...
