Howdy I have a 2002 K11 Micra 1.0 CVT with 120k on the clock, it has the newer gearbox in with the torque convertor rather than the brushes. I think the torque convertor is on it's way out, the car seems to drive with stupidly high revs (like it's in sports mode but isn't), it will then settle...

There's one midway along under the engine above the exhaust that also goes eventually, I just clamped that one onto the exhaust itself with jubilee clips 6 years ago and it's been fine since.

Depends on what gearbox it has, I have a 2002 model same as you and it's the 5 litres one, but a friend has a same year model and it has the 3.whatever litre box in it. On the inside of your bonnet on the right hand side there should be a sticker saying something about only use Nissan NS-1 CVT...
