I've noticed oil leaking from the bottom of cam belt timing cover. I've not looked yet but I suspect it may be from cam shaft oil seal, if so can I remove the seal and refit it from cambelt end without removing the cam-shaft etc.?
I have a 1990 1.2 ltr k10 micra GS, how can I find out if it is a 54 or 60 hp? The parts for the engine differ between the two and I want to order the correct part. Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the offer SammoHung, but I was able to cut back and reterminate the original lead and all is now fine. I'm still surprised that you can no longer buy single leads.

I'm wanting to change my cambelt soon, is it usual to change just the cambelt or should you change the tensioner and waterpump as well. Also what manufacturer/supplier of the parts are good, I hear gates make good belts.

The back box on my K11 is very easy to change as the joint is just above the rear axle, however on the K10 the back box is joined onto a pipe that runs over the rear axle to halfway down the car to the joint. From memory you can only change the K10 back exhaust from either a ramp or pit and you...

Thanks for the info Diskwiped, I think that I have found the relay which is blue and taped to the wiring loom directly behind the switch, although I could only get at it from underneath. I am now resting my poor back and will attempt to part the relay.
