I've noticed oil leaking from the bottom of cam belt timing cover. I've not looked yet but I suspect it may be from cam shaft oil seal, if so can I remove the seal and refit it from cambelt end without removing the cam-shaft etc.?

I have a 1990 1.2 ltr k10 micra GS, how can I find out if it is a 54 or 60 hp? The parts for the engine differ between the two and I want to order the correct part. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the offer SammoHung, but I was able to cut back and reterminate the original lead and all is now fine. I'm still surprised that you can no longer buy single leads.

I also think K10s are great cars and they seem to be getting a little rare now.

Does anyone know where I can buy a single lead for no 1 cylinder on my K10 . I don't need a complete set only one lead is faulty. Thanks

I will have to try and see. Problem I have is that I have a 1.2 k10 with good tyres and a 1.3 k11 with badly cracking rear tyres and the MOT is due on both. I'm not sure which to concentrate on for the test since both have rusted at the rear sills below the seatbelt mountings. I may have to...

Are there any comfortable seats for the K11, the standard drivers seat is doing my back in.

I'm wanting to change my cambelt soon, is it usual to change just the cambelt or should you change the tensioner and waterpump as well. Also what manufacturer/supplier of the parts are good, I hear gates make good belts. Cheers Haybarn

The back box on my K11 is very easy to change as the joint is just above the rear axle, however on the K10 the back box is joined onto a pipe that runs over the rear axle to halfway down the car to the joint. From memory you can only change the K10 back exhaust from either a ramp or pit and you...
