It did crop up again within a week - this time I had the whole Carb cleaned out and since then its ran great for the last 2 weeks. Must be the fix for the problem [at last!]... :)

I took your advice and had the plugs, leads, dissy cap and rotor arm replaced, as the mechanics couldn't find any problems with the carb. Anyway, so far so good and the problem has not popped up since so thanks for that advice guys! I get better throttle response now too and the clutch cable...

Hey its nice to see the old thread of my "Super S" pics still beeing used! :) I would definitely say to go with the colour coded bumpers and kit - the difference it makes to the car is simply HUGE! *But then maybe I’m a bit biased! ;)*

£150 is a great price for a full Super S kit - I paid that much for my full kit that I bought from Germany. Shipping added about £50 to the total price, but its really worth the money as good/complete kits are few and far between...

RE: RE: 15" Wheels If your rear shock springs are still good you shouldn't need to fit bump-stops. Ive got 15'' Razors on my 'Super -S' and they only required rear arch work - having said that i did get brand new rear suspension fitted as the old springs were knackered! ;)

What would happen if you dropped a 5-speed gearbox into a 1.0 though??? Wouldn't that make up some of the top-speed difference [I know the acceleration would remain the same]???
