Well, had my own private swimming pool in the boot, found the connector and it was under water ☔️, disconnected it (no noise from siren, battery flat ?) connected battery and all is well again for now. Where exactly is the connector? Have noticed water coming out of the boot lid. My fix only worked for about an hour then it started doing it again, fingers crossed your suggestion is correct
