Just my tuppence worth, few years back at a merc place we used to get a steering fault light on and the fix was to slowly drive lock to lock several times. Can't remember the angle fault name at this moment. Could have been parse angle. Someone will know. Worth a shot.

Thanks mate, if I Thanks mate, if I get to the bottom of it I will post it up. Final thing is that the temp light shows blue with ignition on but doesn't extinguish as I believe it should. Clocks out next for a shufty.

I also disconnected the ecu and the radiator fan came on, just a secondary check. Reprogrammed the system afterwards.
