    Handling Advice/Tyre Advice

I would change the springs but the majority of spring kits I have seen seem to lower the car quite dramatically which is something that practically speaking wouldn't be advisable, a slight drop would be fine but nothing above say 10/15mm.

    Handling Advice/Tyre Advice

I wouldnt imagine I could get much stiffer shocks than the Konis, which I do like because I can adjust them for wether Im driving to work or in full attack mode so to speak! Thank you for the advice about the rollbar and the tyres. I will price a whiteline front roll bar up, then consider...

    Handling Advice/Tyre Advice

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anybody can offer me some help or advice. Ive got a 1995 1lt K11 and currently its running Adjustable Koni's on front and rear, Whiteline Panrod Arm kit and an OMP strut brace. The car itself handles very well but its still a bit "rolly" and it doesn't always...

    K11 SR Alloys

Can you bare with me on this. Sorry to be a pain but I was offered some cheap rfx wheels yesterday which im off to see this weekend. they seem a bit too cheap to be good, so chances are they might be quackered but if theyre good, i'll be going for them. Sorry to mess you about.

    K11 SR Alloys

I'll use interlink as we use them at work, as i say, they need to know the size of the wheels combined once theyve been wrapped up before they will arrange a collection. If you could get them to your work, that'd be great :grinning: cheers

    K11 SR Alloys

Im quite a way away, on the mid wales/shropshire border. Ive spoke to interlink today, to arrange a collection they need to know the size of the wheels once packaged. I can't really get a weekend pick up as the price difference between a weekday and weekend pick up is rather large, is there a...

    K11 SR Alloys

Alright, yeah, I would be interested in those wheels, I'd have to arrange for a courier to pick them up, so I will need to find a price for that first, is that ok? When you say they are a little bit rough, how rough are we talking? Ok to chuck on the car just to brighten it up or could they...

Modifiying my K11 1.0L for future rallying

Only thing with a LSD is it would mean you wouldnt be able to compete in Enduro events or the F1000 rally championship.

    Throttle Body Problems

Hello, I'm fairly new to here and have had problems as you might of read in a previous thread, touch wood, everything seems ok now though. What my question is, as its been bugging me, what exactly is the fault with the throttle bodys? From my point of view, my car was losing power, I...

Modifiying my K11 1.0L for future rallying

Dont know if they run many up by you as Road Rallying is more based in Wales it seems these days. Just to give you a rough idea, Classic Lanes Novice Road Rally which happened mid 2006, we were given pre-printed maps roughly half hour before our due start time, so no plotting, route wasnt too...

Modifiying my K11 1.0L for future rallying

Try http://www.tynemouthmotorclub.co.uk/ They seem to be the nearest club that I can find. Your best bet really would be to have a word with some of the people on the Formula 1000 forum as if you fancy having a crack, it'd be best to build the car performace wise to within their rules as the...

Modifiying my K11 1.0L for future rallying

It depends what type of rallying your planning on doing. If you want to enter a Road Rally, cutting the bonnet is a no-no as you cant alter anything bodywise as the car has to remain looking standard. If your looking at doing an actual stage event, before worrying about things like that think...
