Lambda sensors can be tight, but they should come out. NTK used to give you a special socket for them when you bought one, but I don't think they do anymore, but you can buy lambda sensor sockets. If it's not too late, try running the car up, the heat in the exhaust may make it easier to come...

You can do it off where the bottom hose joins the engine block and push it down under the car, but you might not get all of it out. Saves crawling around on the floor.

Another way to check is just to let the system get cold overnight, start her up and warm her up, feeling all around the system as she does. If it all gets hot as one, then your thermostat is open. If the radiator, top hose and bottom hose stay cold whilst the rest of the engine is getting warm...

Check your rear brake cylinders aren't leaking aswell.

This. It won't fail or be advised for not having spigot rings. As for measuring, the only accurate way you'll get it is with some verniers, or a micrometer. Or you could measure the circumfrence with a tape measure and divide it by Pi (3.14)?

Sounds good, but I'm thinking that I'm not going to get it till after the weekend, so I might go up to the scrapyard on Saturday and fish around. That sounds like a good price though, I'll let you know how I get on.

It 53mm, has a Nissan stamp with the word jecs after, and the part number looks to be a42-6500

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has a K11 fuel pump they could sell me? It's for a 1.3 super S, and I just need the pump, not the float and bracket and top bit on the tank. If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Chances are the chain wasn't getting enough lubrication. I used to have a Primera GT which had quite a bad oil leak on it. Anyway, you knew when the oil level was getting low because the timing chain rattled a hell of a lot more.
