Ahh okay, I could of sworn I bolted an earth back on the starter motor and onto the gearbox... Either that or the one that in was meant to bolt back onto the starter motor went to the clutch arm bracket on the gearbox... Hope you find the problem, I can imagine how much of a pain it is after...

Have you checked the earth straps were all put back in place? There is one that straps to the gearbox which I almost missed whilst I was doing mine...
