Just looked on eBay and the engines are up for between 5-700 and gearbox between 4-600????? Surely that can't be right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I have a 1.4 sport+ Y reg 64-65k... it's about to fail mot due to springs... decat... and various body faults due to our wonderful rust inducing salty seaside air.... How much roughly would the engine and gearbox be worth? Anything else worth anything? Boot spoiler/"orange" interior and...

OK I'll rephrase haha, I want a dyno print of 230bhp I'm sure I read somewhere that with better intake and a non restrictive exhaust plus correct fueling for the changes you can achieve about 100bhp? If so then with a td04 plus uprated injectors, rail, pump and a good map 180 should be well...

Whys that? If a glanza can make 250bhp on a 1.3l a 1.4 micra must be able to achieve a similar figure admittedly with alot more work lol

Any recommendations on the piston front?

Also bud, what are the option when it comes to internals? My target is 230whp but I don't imagine standard internals would handle it?

Any ways to overcome this? What's a realistic power output for a FI 1.4 coilpack?

So how would a td05 fair on a cga3de with the correct setup? Would it be very leggy? Or would it's diesel pedigree mean it would spool quicker than its petrol equivalent? Or am I missing the point here lol?

Riiighty then... I read somewhere that a diesel turbo can be used on a petrol (various rumours about not taking the heat are lies according to a guru on the interwebs) but the turbo will spool up way too fast, so to beat this you multiply your engine capacity by 1.75 to find the engine...

Will it run properly on the k11 ecu? Will it not try and fuel etc as though it's still a 1.4? Or will it reset to "learning mode" (not sure if nissan ecus have a learning mode although I know some of my old cars do/have) I wasn't aware there was a Facebook group, called msc I assume?

Honestly not sure buddy, it's an 02 plate, qg18de to go in my "1.4" Y reg sport+, what do I need to look for?

Hey guys so I have the micra sport+ 1.4 I have sourced a whole almera 1.8 sport+ Question 1... Will the engine work on my gearbox or will the ratios be stupid and just cause me to spin up all the time? Question 2... The almera was seized roadside and thus has no key... what's the best way...
