This one? http://www.bba-reman.com/content.aspx?content=fault_codes_for_bosch_and_simtec_mpi_main_engine_ecu
It lists 55 as a fault, which is no fault detected on Nissan OBD.
Other fault codes not comparable either...
Looking at the bodge on the 60A fuse, how well has the fuel injection fuse been bypassed?
Have you not got the fuse box cover with the labels on?
It was several years ago I had those faults. It was my post on the Ilexa forum that sometimes gets referenced on here.
I don't know if the fuse...
I think if you link them at the loom you will have 4 speeds but all the same - High
It looks like there are 3 different resistors. Some may be used together.
I have seen a Primera card with lots of little solder repairs to damaged parts.
You might be better getting a replacement card.
Heater resistor card located behind the glovebox.
The small white looking rectangle on the left is the solder fuse.
Scrape either side (above and below as pictured above) with a small screwdriver/knife to expose clean copper.
Add solder to join the two sides.
I did our Micra about 4 years ago...
That's the method I used to get the codes.
141 and 143 I had, caused by the split fuel injection fuse. It is marked on the fusebox and FUEL INJ or something similar. 96 K11 is long gone, so can't check.
I think the legs were electricically in contact with the fuse body before startup and the...
Looking at your pic, there seem to be a lot of red wires floating around near that fusebox!
Often people tap into the wiring and add a standalone blade fuse holder when the fusebox corrodes. One of the headlight fuses had been done like that on our 96 K11.
The legs corroded away from the fuel...
Safer and easier to remove the heater resistor card and repair that with just solder.
There is a solder fuse that on the card that gets damp, corrodes and loses contact with the circuit. This causes speeds 1-3 not to work.
The fix is to clean it up and rejoin with solder.
The solder fuse is...
Brake pads and disks should be replaced in pairs. The calipers don't need to be.
I have used Brakeparts International before. Good service.
They list front caliper for 93-02 Micra £41 + £30 Which you get back when they receive your old caliper.
Yes. A 51 plate Primera will have the temp sensor on the MAF, if the Micra doesn't it is just ignored.
Just in case you don't know, push the arrow in the centre top of the connector forwards and it will unlatch the connector from the MAF.
Not sure if the housing (second pic on the first...
You can buy the Primera 1.8 genuine Bosch MAF on exchange from Andrew Page or Eurocarparts for around £50 + deposit.
This type of hot-film MAFs tend to wear out between 70K and 100K miles.
Ebay MAFs very hit and miss and not much cheaper.
Not sure if the thermistor is fitted on the Micra MAFs...
Cleaning the 98 facelift Micra today and noticed the air recirculate lever will only move about half way from the right (fresh air) to the middle.
It will not go all the way to the left (recirculate)
It's the Mrs car and she has been complaining of misting up and damp smells.
I have not had a...
