Rolling K10 Arches:

Rolling K10 arches is only needed when fitting 195/45/R15 wheels on a 35mm drop or lowering your car past 50mm on 175/50/R13's ( standard wheel size )

To do this follow these simple instructions;

1. Remove wheels

3. Use a soft mallet hammer to gently knock the lip of the inside of each arch therefore gaining more clearance to wheel to arch
4. Use a touch up paint just incase any paint chips

tools needed:
soft mallet hammer
tools to remove wheel
touch up paint ( optional )

Interior Body Spraying:

many interiors on the K10 are a horrid colour of brown I know mine once was!

This method can be used on door cards and all dash parts.

Follow these instructions;

1. Remove any part you intend to spray
2. clean throughly with Folea tec cleaner, wipe to leave a clean surface and drying time of about 10-15mins
3. Using the primmer apply 2-3 thin coats about 20-30cm's away allowing 10mins on each coat to dry
4. Choose the colour of your choice and spray light thin coats 30cm away and as many as it takes to cover part allowing 20mins drying time in between each coat
5. Leave for 12 hrs
6. Apply the sealer 3-4 light thin coats, allow 5-10 mins between each coat to dry

Buying the remover is a good idea if you go wrong and want to start again on any areas

Tools needed:
Folea-Tec interior spray collections cleaner / primmer / colour spray / sealer / remover
clean dry and warm area to work in
heater if available

Fitting a Seat Ibiza front splitter as a rear valance:

This modification is a little tricky and basically needs to cut and chopped to your desired shape and then can be placed directly underneath the bumper and fixed by drilling holes underneath the bumper. The back bumper will not have to be removed, just jack the car up.
You can leave it black or spray it to match the colour of your car and also mesh it too.

Fitting the K&N Bolt on kit:

1. Remove the standard air box and fitler, unscrew 2 bolts and remove the large and small bore pipes.
2. place the K&N Bolt on Kit and fix into place by screwing a nut over the top of the existing unit.
3. block off the small bore pipe.
4. the large bore pipe can be directly feed into the K&N by drilling a hole in the filter and push through the piping

K&N will increase engine sound, should increase BHP by about 3-4 in some cases can lower the bhp slighty, all depends on the model of car

Fitting sportster Race seat covers:

I have fitted both the rear and front seat covers.

1. Buy the front and rear covers costing a total of £100.
2. Fit the front covers by removing the seats, to give a better fit.
3. You will need to unscrew four bolts and the seats will come straight out.
4. Use the hooks provided to give a tight fit
5. Cut a small gap on the passenger and driver sides to allow the handle to work to operate the seats.
6. Place seats back in the car and screw the seats back in.
7. Remove the back seat by again unscrewing four screws
8. Place seat covers on the seat and use the same technique as before.
9. A few cuts to allow the seat to be screwed back into place are needed.
10. This rear cover may look a little untidy at first , but when in place you can pull it round the back and square it off.

Tinted Rear Clusters:

Using Folea-Tec's Tint spray

1. Clean rear clusters thoroughly
2. Cover up surrounding area to stop over spray
3. take the can and spray about 25-30 cm's away and spray 2-3 coats evenly and leave each coat to dry for 5-10mins
4. Use polish on the clusters after 24 hours drying time and they will look superb after.

It is that easy, but does come with it's down sides the police love to pull people over and stop them for this so be careful and make sure you still have the same shine from the lights!

Body spraying for bumpers / wing mirrors:

This includes the bumpers mainly but is applicable to most ( I also done wing mirrors, corner splinters )
1. bumpers need to be cleaned and dried thoroughly ( about an 1 hour drying time )
2. Rub them done with wet and dry paper ( I used 400 grade leave to dry 30mins )
3. If possible heat a garage to about 25 degree's and use a hairdryer
4. first coats of primmer to sprayed finally and leave each coat for 30mins
5. Use wet and dry paper ( 1000 grade to smooth primmer )
6. leave overnight to seal
7. Use a damp cloth and wash over the bumpers and dry thoroughly
8. start to spray the colour match spray in thin coats again 30 mins drying time each coat
9. When colour has matched use wet and dry 1500 grade to smooth and shine the paint
10. leave to dry for 24 hours
11. Finally spray a lacquer / sealer and leave to dry for 30mins each coat

You have to judge how many coats of each one and make sure that you cover the whole of the car and protect yourself
This process will not be car wash / power washer safe!
But will hold and be easily cleaned
If you don't do it right you will only get what you work you put in, rush it and before you know it paint comes off
Don't wash the car for 2 weeks and always make sure that you keep the area warm!
Hope this helps anyone looking to spray k10

Window tinting:

You will need Folea Tec window tint film
This process can be used to tint the rear windows including the back one

1. Unscrew the rear windows, you will locate the screws near the doors and also the 2 at the rear of the window on the inside. be very careful not too let the window fall out!
2. Clean the glass with JOY provided in the kit. Remove mechanism used for opening the window
3. Dry both windows.
4. Place the film on the table, put the window on top, trim the film using the knife in the kit, leave an 2cm edge and make sure the film is the right way up ( you should see folea tec written on it.
5. Take the film away and spray the window with JOY.
6. Place the film on the window, first peel off the protective backing, be careful not to stick it together.
7. position the film and work some of the big air bubbles out.
8. Trim the edges along the window, should be looking good now!
9. Heat the window with an hair dryer and make a start at removing the air bubbles.
10. Remove as many as you can and use a pin for stubborn air bubbles.
11. After spending a long time removing the air bubbles, place the windows back in the car.
12. You now have tinted rear windows
13. To do the rear boot window, same applies but cut the film around the edges of the outside of the boot window as you cannot remove this

Front Fog Lamps: ( exclusive to MSC)

1. Remove the front indicators and disconnect the wiring.
2. You need rectangle fog lights like mine in the photo's
3. make some black housing to fit on the back of the fogs, to make a neat fit into the indicator housing.
4. Put the old bulbs connected to the same circuit in the rear clusters, this is keep circuit from running too fast
5. remove side lights, buy 2 small orange light bulbs and adapt the side lights to house these, just under the side light will do.
6. re-wire the indicators to new position, you now have brand new front indicators
7. wire up the front fogs to the main electric's and using a suitable place in the dash for the switches ( see my photo)
8. Use a sealer substance to make the front fogs water tight
9. place fogs in the indicator housing and wire up appropriately
10. This is just a quick guide, you will need to be good with electric's to do this and have a lot of confidence when completing this mod!
