3 warning lights on Micra Dig-S 2011

Hi guys!

Recentlyt, I´ve had a problem with warning lights appearing on the display of my car. It runs good, but the lights has been on/off for a couple of weeks now, see the pic below!
Spoke to a mechanic friend, he said that it could be a simple problem, like a malfunktion i a brake sensor or a more serious problem, like a malfunction in the ABS-brake system.
I have a System Diagnostic Tool, but strangely there is no fault code.

Anyone who have had a similar problem or a solution?

Best regards,

That's your ABS light I think

My mum used to have a Primera and that yellow light would come on in winter when she brakes and the ABS was taking control to prevent the car from skidding. it was accompanied by the car juddering. The other brown light says that your ABS is turned off.

I think it'll be one of 2 things. Either you've accidentally turned off your ABS in the settings somehow and not realised. Or your ABS system or some related sensors have malfunctioned and needs repairing

edit: might be traction control now that I think about it, not ABS

Or stability control, whatever name nissan use for it.

Often it can be something unrelated, but the stability contro lis disabled due to a missing/wrong signal.

The button to turn it on/off is on the side, have you tried pressing it several times, just in case it could cause issues due to oxidation or it being suck pushed in? That's the stability control. IT is part of the ABS system/ECU. It could be just a fault switch, connection, since the ABS light is not on.

Not sure if you are using the Nissan Consult diagnostic, on the ABS system, the generic tools or aftermaket will not help, as the fault codes are custom made for Nissan and are not included in the list of the generic public fault codes that universal tools have. You need to use a dedicated nissan tool to be exact, but check wiring and connections and also at the abs, check that all the connectors are plugged in well. IT could happen as well if you washed the engine bay recently with a pressure washer, need to dry the connectors up.

The red light is the Brake warning light.

The orange light is the eVehicle DynamicControl (VDC) OFFindicator light.

The yellow light is the Slip indicator light.

Hi guys! Thank's for all replies! Took a closer look at the car today and realized that the level of brakefludid was at the minimun level...Can a low level of brakefluid also indicate with the other 2 lights?
After topping it up there was none of the warning lights today. So maybe it was easy problem to solve :)

low brakefluid indicates worn brakepads, assuming you don't have a leak

It doesn't indicate low brake pads, it's low fluid or handbrake on.
I thought it can do. If it was filled to the max line when you had new pads on and then as the pads wear more fluid is moved to put the brakes on since the gap to close is bigger. If you fill the brake reservoir to max on your current worn pads and then get new pads, you can have too much in.

The handbrake thing might be the case though, all my cars have had cable handbrakes

Fluid in the reservoir gets lower as the caliper piston is forced further out as the brake pad material is worn away and as the disc gets thinner... unlikely to get so low it causes a light to come on in most cars

It should be checked and topped up regularly, not left to the point the light comes on.

It's never come on on any car I've had with low brake pads.

I see two, what look like, ABS warning lights on and one of which says OFF and the other warning light is of Handbrake in the engaged position.

It is possible that those two identical warning lights may be related to EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) or TCS (more likely to be the case if not ABS) also. I have seens ABS being displayed in some cars when the ABS isn't working properly.

If you haven't engaged the handbrake and it is still being displayed, it could be a faulty sensor.
