How do i declare these wheels?

Im having trouble thinking of how i should declare my wheels to my insurer, theyre jbw pepperpots and theyre basically steelies, should i declare them as alloys or as slightly deeper steels, im not sure what id be better off doing (looking for cheapest option of course) let me know

My two pence worth,

100% declare all your mod's.

If you ever need to make a claim, you don't need the added hassle of your insurance being potentially voided and the claim declined over not declaring.

You may get away with it however do you want to run that risk?

You would also then have to declare insurance being refused / cancelled when looking at insurance again.

If there is an additional charge for declaring the mod's and you can't justify / afford it then simply don't do it!

Ignorance is not an excuse anyone buying a secondhand car should be asking: "has it been in an accident?", "any outstanding finance?", "is it modified?" and declaring accordingly to insurance.

Whether mods get investigated is down to an individual insurer. At the end of the day, if the car is modified and not declared as such, then you are in breach of contract and they have every right to refuse the claim, or even prosecute for fraud if they think it was done deliberately.

The wheels are gonna be the last thing I’m worried about
