nissan micra k11 windscreen wiper amplifier/relay

hello / I would be most grateful if someone could tell me the arrangement of the wires that go to the amplifier/relay socket / the Haynes book tells me the colours of the wires but does not show which pin they go to / the pins are not numbered so you would also have to say which pin you are calling number one and so on / there are six pins / thank you in advance

hello / come on people this is an easy one / just have a look at your micra and if it has a small black box close to the wiper motor that is what is called the simplifier / I do not know why it is called that as it does not amplify / it is a relay / thank you

hello / thank you I have had the car since new and intend to keep it as long as I can / for the reply / my micra is 2002 / it has the windscreen delay unit in the unit that has the switches near the steering wheel / I have had the car since new and with a bit of luck it will be my last car / I like micras and have had three / I have never been happy with the delay on my car and have intended to build a delay unit but I was given a delay unit from an early micra so as a first stage I decided to investigate how it all worked / the delay unit seems straightforward as it is built round the u842b chip / if I was building my own I would use a 555 timer chip / I have worked out where some of the wires go but it would be nice if someone can give me the information that I asked for then I can confirm what I have found out / I live in the Shetland isles and am isolated and need a hobby so I decided to go through the car and find out where everything is and how it all works / I have a donor car the same as my own so can pull things apart to investigate / my car has done 110000 miles with no problems and the donor car has done 41000 but the body is rotten / I will if need be change the engine / I am conversant with old cars so I am finding it interesting to learn about some of the new technology / if there were any scrap yards here I could go and look at one there but we do not have anything like that and there are only about 5 micras here / hope you can help / william

hello / thank you for the info. it is what I wanted / it would be good to get a decent manual as although the Haynes is ok it does not cover everything / I do not understand why car makers make it so hard / I found a relay hidden behind the insulation near the right hand side rear right cluster and it turned out to be the relay for the rear fog lamp / I found that my horn relay is bolted to the car frame behind the fuse/relay panel down beside the drivers knee / how many more / if anyone thinks that I have a strange way of writing it is because I am a radio amateur and this is the format I use when on the air / I only use morse code / this format is similar to the old style telegrams but if you are young you will not have seen one / it means that I do not have to concern myself with punctuation etc / I only have to make sure that my spelling is correct / if anyone has a 2002 car and they want to know where anything is I will try and help / thank you all / william
