Thanks Jen :) Will be fitting the sx fog light trims so thought meshing the gap between. Cars been done silver with black contrast,so figured black mesh should tie the colours in front end.

Sure if I can hijack the h11 plugs with a ring spot lamp wiring kit or not,had projectors to go in but can't get them to line up properly anywhere either! Also cracked a wheel arch trim, taking off to drop the bumper :(

I tho all the wiring looms are there.. All you need the headlight stalk with front and back fog light switch and a relay. That's it!!

Not sure if I read correctly, apparently with Micra, the light stalk turns the both front and back fog lights on :-( (so you end up turning front and back fog lights)

I have fogs fitted from factory on mine (Sport+)
You turn the end of the stalk to on, the front fogs come on, twist it again the rear one comes on.
They can come on with just the side lights on (you don't have to be dipped or full beam first)
But won't turn on on their own.

...and always remember, it's an offence to drive with your fog lights on when visibility is not significantly reduced (I believe 100 metres? )

...that and only douche bags* drive around with fog lights on when it ain't foggy ;)

*does not include racing/rally drivers whilst competing on track :p

I agree with the law :) but I've seen so many drivers in East London drives with fog lights on.. I even see some idiots drive without any lights on at midnight!! Bloody fools!!

Once I was driving local n one driver didn't have any lights on, so I flashed at him to turn the lights on, he past my car n behind him was THE POWLICE :-D

Result: I could see in my mirrors that his been pulled over. 'Ouch' :-D

But.. Front LED is any day then front fog lights! I like my LED style :)

All the wiring is in there for mine,I think the car would have to go to nissan to adjust the ecu though. Like I said I had everything installed, the stalks lights ect and the front would work on the first turn, but when turned to front and rear the rear one wouldn't stay on. Looking into using the ring wiring to attach to the h11 plugs. I wouldn't drive around with them on when not needed, but I live in an area famous for fog,ppl actually call the place fog horn lol,so would come in handy having them wired up

The only I would say about those,if they are drls, they are meant to be on a specific relay that drops output to 30% when sidelights and main beam are used. The whole lights rules are a bit stranget I can see why most of them are there.

Believe it or not. I've seen some cars are OTT with the LED. They have full grill of white LEDs. :-/

The mesh looks really good :) I havent got the patience to do that for a start lol! Id end up with a hole in it, or my fingers sliced to death lol.

Im thinking of these led kits now. I like them on azb's MicRaider so i think its going to be a matter of time before i get some! lol

Yeah the grill bit was the most trying of all sundays jobs, more because I'm a fussy b@+ch and had to have it just so haha ;) the bumper bar replacing prob only took half hour or so,but front wheel arch kit and front bumper removing was the longest part of that job. Looks good and car is soooo much safer for having the bar done, that all that matters. This is what the bar was looking like

And that there is where the tow eye screws into, hence the desperation to get it done. So keep an eye on yours guys! You can see them just from removing the indicator grills.

Its a difficult one to judge as I do live right by the coast, salt sea spray ect is never good for a car,so could just be because of that why mine got so bad,if the driver side one is rusty it isn't so bad as that is removable from the car and the bumper, passenger side however is a welded fixture to the bar itself because of the tow eye holding,so is a little more to replace. I replaced driver side can and the bar for about £30,primed and then about 4 coats of hammerite before spraying with kyo blade silver and then lauer(wanst taking any chances) its not in view so hasn't got to be a perfect paint job, just well protected. The one thing I would say to anyone self painting, try to not let too much build up of paint occour in any screw holes or where the bolts go,else they won't fit properly lol
