I was thinking about autosprint camshafts so is it easy to install these cams in? Is autosprint cams are better than other brand cams.

I want to get a good and cheap upgrade cams. :)

they grind a different profile onto the cams you supply jk, and its quite a technical install

Really high profile cams will mess up with you timing(meaning too much duration and lift you will need adsustable cam pulleys)so proven that 260 duration and 10lift is something you can go for without having to mess with timing marks, retarting ect.. although 260d 10l means that the car will propably turn into a high end power and high rpm torque result which is not the best-optimum(my opinion)for road use...you need to look in a cam that will suit your needs and demands of power delivery(higher or lower on the rev range)...just pointing out a couple of things...

Damn, there are too many high profile cams. (Numbers and sizes) I think I will leave this out. :(

Don't let total duration and peak lift numbers put you off, it's only the tip of the iceberg and is mostly misleading.

Frank's got some good experience with what works and what doesn't at various states of modification. Listen to him :)

Look everything is possible..it's how much you want to be involved and made get your hands dirty...i believe you could go for an other kind of profile where you could ensure not much fuss to time the engine and no compression loss...(usually big duration tends to lower a bit of static compression because of overlap figures).Talk to somebody at autospint and im sure they could make you a different profile..my advise dont go over 250d(so as not to break static compression figures on standard timing)and no bigger lift that 9(will most likely need harder valve springs"safety mod"but you could go for stock new just to make sure you dont have a 20 years old almost dead valve spring anywhere)
