MSC Branded clothing

I know this has happened before, in '05 and '09, But nothing recently. I thought of this because at Japfest I saw a scooby club with bright orange hoodies with "Torbay Scoobies" on them. I got so jealous. I think this is something that really needs to happen again.
Thanks
Max.

I like the idea of having some club branded hoodies, t-shirts etc but with just the MSC logo and/or Micra Sports Club written on them, not the 'turbo solves everything' bit

I think she was joking.. I'd happily wear them. Free advertising, isn't it? ;)

(And it won't look so weird when I stare at this old lady in a SR that lives near me)

Oh okay, silly me haha :p Yeah, always good to represent the club
I bet at the moment she must wonder why you keep looking at her..

Yeah :').
I really hope we can get enough people to like this idea so it can happen :D.

Why not Harlen? No one's forcing you to wear one :p

Of course not.

I think there's something a little cringeworthy about those dudes in Scooby OC jackets, or MX5 hoodies, or Caterham club clothing... It's doubly worse if it's Ferrari/Lambourghini clothing.

I'm not against car clothing. I like the subtle stuff from places like Zilla, Stanceworks and Status:Error. But car club clothing is just lame and even though I love Micras I think it'd be a little laughable to be representing Nissan Micra sportswear.

Maybe I'm cynical, maybe I'm a hipster. It's just not my cup of tea :p

If you thought it was sad, you wouldn't be on the Micra owners club, openly pronouncing one to the world you own one? ;)
But that's your opinion, as I said, no one's forcing you, I just think it should be available for those that want it.

Wouldn't ever belittle people who do wear it, you wear what you like, I'm just explaining why I'd never wear it as you asked :p

I don't have an issue with the MSC at all, why would I? I'm proud of the club and what it stands for. It's fun being the underdogs in cars which many don't understand the point in tuning. We all have our reasons for owning Micras, a lot of the time it's due to a lack of funds, but at the same time we can build these little cars to be right little monsters which surprise a ton of people. Just look at Japfest a few days ago... The stand got a ton of attention and people were loving the cars. Hell just take Stani's car last year with his Banzai feature. From the outside it looks like a mildly tuned Micra, or even a stocker to the naked eye, but underneath it's something very special and many are surprised and inspired by what they see. That's the entire point.

So don't question my loyalty or love of the club because I don't want to plaster myself in garish Nissan Micra clothing. If I owned a Nissan GTR, Toyota AE86 or Porsche 911, 3 of my favourite cars in the world, I still wouldn't be wearing car memorabilia. ;)

I'm sorry I questioned your loyalty, I can see your point.

Rumor has it that if we go to JAE that we get msc T-shirts with our forum names on?

sent via carrier pigeon :)
I bet that's only if you're on the actual MSC stand. If I can get to JAE, which is possible, I won't be driving... I think if they can make up shirts for JAE, then we should be able to request to buy them off the forum? Or included in club membership? I'm not really sure :p.

I might start writing the names of the people that support this in the OP and be really tidy and stoof ;).

This, but I don't like the 2 cars, possibly replace those with something else.

I also really like the idea of having the web adress on the back as well. We're all 21st century and stuff ;)

May be a little crowded on the back... If it was me, a simple MSC logo on the front, web adress on the back :). Could add some crazy Nissan badges I guess. :).

These new members, come in here question your loyalty, they dont even drive yet pff. What sit coming too.

I understand you on that one. I would have a picture of a micra, but not msc. I in general wear plain clothes, adding things to the material is just simply a tactic which says look at me. To be honest if we did do this, I would wear one, to big up the club at shows, but no where else. I haven't even got the sticker on my car. Which I should really get round too. Avoiding it. Not a fan or stickers... Wherever you place it, it's never I'm the right place lol

I agree I don't like the two cars on the back. I feel it also needs something on the front :) maybe a nismo or Jdm badge also :) like the Raleigh shirts that have a few sponsors on?....

I think is prefer quite a plain one like the guys said. Maybe front end of a low n wide micra on the front and the back end on the back.
Obviously people will want the website/logo somewhere but the micra itself is all I'd want as a general rule

why does the bloomin signature keep resetting?

Plain and simple without the low and wide micra (we're not all into that :))

How about the msc logo on the left hand breast (where pockets normally are on shirts) and the url along the bottom on the back

Better than a stock micra silhouette... Even if i wasnt low i wouldnt want a stock height decal.
Web address along the bottom at the back sounds ok, i just dont like the logo much, it's too big, thats why i dont have it on my car. Maybe a half size logo could be done (like the fuel cap one but 50x50mm not massive like it is atm) and put inside a nissan badge/ring

Instead of buying nasty clothes I'd rather save for those driving lessons, or get some white lightning from the local dodgy offy and nail some college chicks. But there you go.
