what did you do to your micra today ?

Okay...here goes...
tools...: a piece of rubber non-slip mat for grip and cushioning, the hugest pair of pliers a girl can lay her hands on :p

TA DAH!!! http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z110/Sai_art/Car/DSC00330_zps29531b53.jpg ^_^

...a note to my fellow K12 owners...doing this is a piece of piss, however...if you wanted to go the other way (from black to cream/white)
...you will have to modify/cut the fixing prongs on the centre/small dial, as they are much longer and will not sit right back on the K12c heater unit.
...(you'd have to change the whole unit not just the knobs ;))

Dougyledds

Woopa Pandastyle!
Drove it and thought how much of a shed it seems, it handles like a boat, the car just about moves as the engine its buggerd.. and the paint is more matte than my garden shed! not feeling the love today

New discs have finally arrived :):

Was expecting cheapy Chinese discs but they're actually Pagid OEM discs, well pleased for £72 delivered. Will look better when that silver paint has gone...

Thanks Guy ;) ...all I need now is that silly K12c black trim on the door pillar, then she'd be absolutely perfect ^_^
I'm gonna call up a couple of local paint sprayers/bodywork places tomorrow....get a quote for a full re-spray (still in white of course)
...Just wanna see how long my "Bean's on toast" diet's gonna be LOL ...or if they think it would be better/cheaper to do it panel by panel...

I love those mats!... They're the best quality thing I've ever got from Halfords (about 5 years ago for the K11...reduced form £19.99 to £10 :D)
Properly thick rubber...they need a scrub at the moment...the yellow part's gone a bit brown.
...not as amazing as my Halfords 25p Leather steering wheel cover though...which I haven't fitted yet <_<...

My dad has one! LOL ( ETA: 2005 2.2 dci SXE...just like yours)
I could nick his! :p

I've got the stereo controls on mine too...far too much rewiring effort..
besides...I like my shoddy looking steering wheel, we've been through so much together XD

I joined a bandwagon today - 1000K interweb points if ya guess.

Also modified a cheapy steering wheel boss to use an OEM contact ring so that the indicator cancelling actually works. (with the original the lugs sat so high they missed the indicator cancelling tab). Fitted the ebay special wheel that was bought to use with it. It's sh*te but it looks cool.

Pics of all at some point.

I've got a set on eBay at the minute mate

My brembo max grooved discs have had it and are warped too! Have had a similar moment on stock brakes with 4 people in the car, brakes decided not to do anything when trying to brake from around 100 and it involved a lot of smoke from the front brakes once I got the car to a stop :p

EDIT: I've quoted the wrong post, was meant to be Harlens! Can't be assed sorting it lol

Yeah but got a set of pulsar brakes waiting to go on once I've got the 14" steels back on (if they fit under them :p)

As long as you avoid horrid Greenstuff pads, the AD22VF's will hold up pretty well ;)

Saying that, I am getting shot of mine this year for something a little more exotic and fitting for a car on sticky tires....

That's a kit from nissan I believe (so OEM) an optional extra...
...When I was upgrading from K11 to K12 I very nearly bought an "E" model in red with that kit on it, minus the spoiler ^_^
seems to appear on K12's between '03 and '06. (pre-facelift)
...alot of SX's (like the one in your image :p) seem to have it of late...there's one on ebay right now.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Mi...2919035?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27cec7b4fb
this one has the brows over the headlights too...you can see the kit quite well here...as they haven't painted it to match :p

...sills are just like mine and usually my bumper too (Sport model)
plus over arches and front and rear add ons (not really splitters but extra sills if that makes sense)

;)

ETA:
Swap them, I dare you! ;)

Mentioned this to my dad when he got home...he just glared at me LOL

Sounds good, was thinking yellow stuff because I had them before and I wasn't disappointed unless you recommend something that's not silly priced?

I doubt you will find anything cheap compared to EBC prices. For example, my personal choice for a good fast road pad has always been Mintex M1144. Great pads in terms of performance but they're pretty dusty and at around £80 a set they are probably double the cost of Yellow Stuff o_O

Ok and do they last or are they fast wearing? Ill be lucky to make it to knockhill once and crail a handful of times this year

I've done around 8000miles out of this set which has included 3 track days and they are a bit more than 1/2 done. I tend to be heavy on the brakes on track but the opposite on the road, as I tend to take the defensive driving approach when amongst the idiots.

The only issue really is the dust, especially with white wheels. Nothing a bit of Fenwicks FS-1 doesn't sort though...

Not happy. Picked up new wheels, measured at home ( didn't have anything when I was there) and they're 5.5j not 8. Gonna try returning them as the listing was incorrect.

Even rim to rim is only 6 and a bit lol, im gonna take them back over tomorrow and he's relisting them. shame cause theyre a good looking wheel, just no use to me in 5.5j when i wanna go wide and run mini arches on it haha

De-wipered it :D

Edit: and thought it'd be easy enough to get a grommet to fill the hole from homebase or halfrauds but didn't happen, so stuck with a gaping hole till tommorow :(

Sent my S spoiler, wing mirrors, mudflaps, and lisense plate cover off for paint! getting them colour coded bs9! Also painted my wheels matte black!
