Hmm the mapping would be a big step after all that work you've done! I hope you find a mapper soon I don't think you should sell up though matey :) I'm pretty sure you will be able to carry on breaking the limits, you always have! Maybe you should grab yourself an sr20 eh ;) little bandit reborn!

So mapping is 8 days away, am I excited? YES! but more nervous than anything! I'm thinking will they be able to do it, will my head gaskets hold up, will my standard clutch and/or gearbox hold up. My minds going crazy lol

But for the meantime I need to drive 130 miles to pick up my injectors then test fit and re-pipe for fuel lines as well as change oil and filter

Also am I best to fill it with v-power? My only worry is it'll cause injector issues again as I've had previous with higher octane fuels, my biggest fear it failing on the day!

at least you got home :)

Yeah but my car tried to deny my that too! As in battery died, the fuse popped again lol

This is what I want most, if I can get the car there on the day then ill be happy, anything that happens on the dyno I can accept ;)

I hoping no less than 130 at wheels, at the moment were waiting on the product key for the individual license. Just a waiting game so turns out it might not happen today but maybe tomorrow, had problems with my fuel rail fitting but got around that.

there was a discussion a year or 2 ago whether it was 135 or 148 iirc stani, and solarice narrowed it down 148cc with his emanage i think :)

Well earlier I hooked the laptop up to the car and registered my nistune and all is well, so roll on Friday from 5pm ;) before hand I'm going to attempt swapping the injectors via nistune (stock 148cc, new 370cc) and maf sensor too. I'll obviously save the original map before anything as a precaution! Anybody that can give me tips feel free to speak :)

I honestly don't know? Do you mean for stock or what I'm running?
for your setup mate, similar to what i,m running atm, i think the nistune tuners load their preset map (according to what type of maf and injector cc etc), and then refine it on a dyno.
i assume thats what Ed did on mine (no doubt he knows the little CG quirks, and has refined it somewhat :))

Now you mention it I shall look into it :)

looks ok to me stani, any coolant gone ? i have my a little plastic bag on the end of my rad overflow pipe now to check for coolant loss, because on a previous engine it spat about half a cupful of coolant out when i was ragging round our track one day, guess the boost stretched the headbolts a tad and lifted the head up and pressurised the coolant, because it never leaked any more :)

Bra! I've had small coolant loss over a few months but my waxstat on the TB is still leaking so I know that accounts to that. The condensation I presume is through my 'clicky' oil cap so I replaced it for a standard one and really tightened it up, after first realising the creaminess we had to drive approx 8 miles to get the other cap and when swapping them the 'clicky' one was once again a bit creamy. But after approx 10 mines with the over tightened cap on its not creamy so tomorrow I need to burn the rest of my fuel approx 70 miles left before I fill up with v-power so will check again after that :)

This morning I'm glad to announce my car is actually mapped for once! Filled with v-power this time and there were no problems with the fuel however we come across a few issues. Loading the 370cc injectors went well but the maf sensor when plugged in was showing nearly 5v which was the maximum so he was pretty sure I'd wired it wrong and he was right, so we had to swap over the power and signal wire and after that it was showing a more suitable reading. He then began to run it a bit and build up speeds and change the maps etc but he come across a problem where he can keep adding fuel but not take it away using the minus key on the keyboard so we tried changing keyboard setting and even laptops but failed! And in amongst all this somewhere down the line a lot of re-scaling the injectors happened so it wasnt letting in enough fuel. Cutting a long story short we couldn't get the car started for about 20 mins so had to download the ROM pack and start over again (even the base map I saved on my laptop had cleared itself blank!) So he got the original map loaded, injectors and maf redone and started doing runs again. First off we got it up to 84whp then 102/112/133whp, and 139ft/lb. even at 133 he says there's more in there but once again he had iissues with the fuel curve as you'll see on the following graphs. He was saying it wasn't letting him alter the values in certain areas so once we figure out the cause I've to go back for a quick free revamp :) I'm glad to say the DOUBLE head gaskets have held well, there's no loss of coolant/oil and even my standard clutch isn't slipping! Next to do is see how long the gaskets last running 12psi daily, I've blabbed enough so here a few piccies, figures are power at the wheels so he reckons a few more tweaks etc and obviously a little more boost we have a 200bhp micra

Awesome mate! Why's the battery light flash towards the end?

Think i need to tweek the altenator mount, theres a chance its on the MAX forward but obviously needs a little more. Never done it before it was mapped but seems to be when i let off as the revs drop off fast

It'll be a slip on the belt and the altenator showing no charge for that split second. I just need to pack out the top altenator mount more to accomodate the longer belt, or slot the adjustment bracket another 5mm
