Cheap grassroot track days

Hey all

After reading up about the Retro Rides gathering and going to JAE this year I decided it was time I got myself out to more events - and I thought it'd be even more fun to get my own car out on track.

Retro Rides hillclimb circuit looked like such good value, same price as Santa Pod but on a proper hillclimb.

Well, I was just wondering if you guys know of any cheap, grassroot style trackdays. I'm not talking Castle Combe, Bedford Autodrome and Silverstone style tracks (unless they're mega cheap!) but hill climbs, karting tracks and handling courses.

I've got Santa Pod local to me which is £35 all in for unlimited runs on RWYB, been there a few times but as you can imagine, once you've done it a couple of times you just want something a little more crazy!

Curborough is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, Frank! And I had no idea Mallory was that cheap.

Lee, an MSC track day would be sweet :)

Don't built4track organize track days?

An MSC track day would be fun but you'd need more than 3 or 4 people to make it worthwhile

When i was in the Peugeot sport club, they used to do there own track days at Curborough and ty croes. They were cheap, most i paid was £95. But that is go'n back about 8 or 9 years ago now..

Curborough would be ideal tho. In the middle of the country to i think???

I was looking on their site earlier and it looks like they hold loads of car club events - I'm not even sure if they do open track days!

Let us know what they say! Would be so good to have a proper Micra track day!

I have had an email back from them already. They have given me the contact details of the course secrtary, who is in charge of taking bookings for events. I have given them an email so will hopefully here back from them soon.

Curborough Have been in touch, and we can hire the track for £565 for the day on a week day.
There would be a limit of 15 cars and we could only use the top loop of the circuit.
Are people still interested in this??
If we can get 15 cars that is only £38ish each !!
