the online calculators seem to come up with 12:1 + glen and 1330cc
with 72.5mm bore, 80.5mm stroke, 18cc combustion chamber (2mm skimmed and weldfilled) 1.2mm h/g, 2cc dish, and 1mm below deckface

is it the coolant sensor that controls idle etc? for some reason after being run a while my car sits at high idle and keeps turning the fan on, but then if i turn off and restart it'll go to base idle as normal... :s ecu arseing about maybe? or could it be related to this sensor and the resistance thing you guys mentioned before?

i had the rad fan on almost constant too with the sensor unplugd and car running.

That sounds like an ECU failsafe kicking in, ie if it has no idea how hot the coolant is, it turns the fan on to prevent any possible engine damage.

No idea... I shall be trying to get my car MOT'd tomorrow and then taxed. Once I know I can drive to work monday safely, I shall then rip the car apart.
My other car that is. Hopefully I can get someone to sort the work cars MOT, then I can pull the white one.

you could always ask frank to fix the offset for you? seen some wheels he's done and they look great
flipping alloys would be a challenge eh :)
WDIDT ? extricated the rear axle bushes, the 45 and 50mm ones with a steel shell are all offset eh, and the 48mm solid rubber ones are concentric (they were a doddle to remove)

Added to my list of things to fix... door glass has detached from the roller... have to push it down when i open the window or else it just drops! Tried re-gluing it before but it just broke again, any ideas?
