aye, it sounded exactly like a diesel engine dave  , the weldfilled 2mm skimmed chamber came out @ 18cc (stock chamber 26cc) a CG13 dish @ 6.5cc and a CGA dish @9cc

Ah ok, yeah I forgot you had 18cc chambers wow! I think from rough calcs we'll end up on a 24'ish cc chamber but that's to be decided once everything is cc'd. We shouldn't need to change it much given that we have positive deck height on the piston.

Cursed Mr Bognor's name :)

£150 for four wheels with good tyres spacers nuts and spigots... :)
£37.50 each... probably cheaper than the tyres you need to get for em now... lol
whats the spec on yours?

Lol, I spotted them the other day, I almost couldn't resist putting in a bid.

Et will probably be listed in imperial as 0out or 0.25in for example, but is easy enough just to check, measure the back space, measure the overall width, half it and then take it away from the back space. Take all measure ments either from the outer edge of the rim or from the bead seat, but don't mix and match.

Hold out and another pair will turn up at the right price.

Pulled the exhaust heatshield off, bodged the gearstick return spring ( got a new one, but not doing it all on the floor with no jack again, and yes i can wriggle under a micra thats not been lowered)
Got the rocker cover gasket and chain inspection plate gasket to do, what instant gasket do you guys use?

Clear silicone :)

Yeah got some black instant gasket in the work van, was alright for resealing a thermostat housing on a Punto, just not sure how it'll cope with oil instead

probs go buy some hermatit saturday, or steal some from work

Replaced my droplinks to try and get rid of the horrendous clonking from the suspension:

Hope it fixes it, couldn't even move the new ball-joints and 3 out of the 4 existing ones felt absolutely shafted :).

Work in progress....

So far....

Test fitted slot mags, swapped standard wheel nuts for some anodized ones I bought off hoopdub and possibly found the source of my blowing exhaust

Still a few bits and bobs to got :)

I fitted a yellow flyeyes kit to my fogs :D I was gonna fit the headlights to but i'm not sure now, I quite like the contrast between the heads and fogs. Sorry I couldn't get a picture of both but it started raining just as i finished.

Had a good look under the car, found where my exhaust is blowing, had a proper look at the crack in the manifold approx 40mm long and came to the conclusion that the whole of the front needs replacing... joy

Don't forget Karl, if you're going to weld it, dremel the crack out first. Gives you a bit more of a foundation for the weld and clean metal always welds better :).

2000th post :D.

I'll probably just get a new stock manifold, I've bought a 421 off collision (just need to pick it up) so only need a stock one for mot
