Most of the work I do on the car at the moment is pretty dull MoT stuff. I.e. things like fixing washers and replacing brake pads, just stuff thats been covered a million times that I doubt anybody needs to know. Im guessing with the weather and economic climate that that may be the case for a few others...

Having said that theres at least 4 if not 5 CG13 Turbo blogs at the moment that are real interesting reads IMO.

I rekon we should show the might of the MSC and get a crowd up to Newcastle for that big Nissan meet at the end of the month :p

The meet will probs run a couple of hours...totally depends on weather really. You'd be a trooper if you make the 4 hour? journey up. :) Its one of the meets i sometimes go to as everyones pretty sensible (if your not you'll have trouble from the JNE lot and Nissan security) so its a safe environment.

lol you guys should attempts the brighton meet if your local and its a sad sight seeing everyone going but ive noticed alot of new members about the ranks :)

It sounds pretty darn good to be honest. Id be happy to make the trip up I think, need to take the car for a long journey. Not sure I could justify fuel costs though:upside:

Dyou think you'll make the trip this year Solarice?

I´m one of the new ones. And a new Micra owner also. Been (and is) a Primera P11 fan (and owner) and member on NPOC for some years, but since my little family needed a second car, I immediately started looking for a Micra. It had to be a Nissan, and a small, cheap scoot-around-town-job-commute-car, could´nt be anything else but a Micra. Micra K11. And found one, and fell a little in love with little scoot, already on the drive home with it.

Now, the global financial crisis is also being felt in Denmark, and also in our household, so not much cash to flaunt on car-stuff, that is not absolutely essential. But a little sneaks in, here and there, and then there´s lots of time to plan on what to do, when times, and finances, get better. Lot´s of plans, with absolutely no dates on them.

Looking forward to getting to know a lot of you UK-Micra enthusiasts ! (Y)

The trip to this meet?...i could do, as im not far away. Theres a meet every so often at the same place which mainly has JNE members (though other car clubs are starting to join in -- usually invited as i understand it). Though this sounds like a big meet as far as multiple car clubs go. :)

Im selling up, but that doesnt mean im going anywhere lol, ive had a couple of different cars the past year or so that werent micras but ive still been on here keeping an eye out lol!

I'm new to Micras as well, was always a fan of the k10 super turbo but bought myself a K11 super s recently just to run around in.. I think there is so many micras around this forum will be busy for years to come. As old members move on, new members come on board but the genuine enthusiasts either stick around or come back.

It's like me an Mk1 Mr2s, I've lost count of how many Mk1 Mr2s I've had, although I haven't been without one for 5 years now.. with the Uno Turbos, I buy them, run them, sell them, regret it and then buy another, on my 4th now which is getting MOT'd next week! :grinning:
