Never thought I would here that!

Ironically, I think JAE was the culminating factor for my boredom of the car. The fact I had to drive around 400-500 miles, with the car packed to the hilt, and having to foot the entire petrol bill myself, was what I thought to be the final straw. Now this ABS problem has decided to rear its ugy head in full :(

i would have paid petrol if i had any money at all, but thanks very much for the lift!

What year is the civic? Cause a friends nan has a 2002 non v-tec I think it's a 1.4 really nice car and reliable even when she had an accident back in 2003/04

It's a 2003 non vtec, a black Inspire S or something lol yeah I'm sure they're reliable just as dull as dishwater to drive lol It has standard alloys and a horrible little downturned exhaust lol
It'll literally be a runabout until I find another car that I want...

you need a k11

...Which brings me onto my next point, I'll be looking for a decent Super S or SR eventually, lower it, open mouth grill it etc; just until I can afford a faster car again!
Civic is fairly dull, but I know if I get the Micra and whack some decent handling mods onto it, it should be a bit more of a blast lol

Ralph, yeah I know, it was just I didn't have that much money either, being skint and inbetween jobs as I was - I literally had to dig into my savings that I should be keeping for the wedding so I could afford to go.
To add insult to injury I only got paid £700 from the two jobs that month, £500 of which went straight on the mortgage/house, and the rest of it was used commuting to my new place of work. That was an extremely tight month. Believe me, even though I have a job, it doesn't mean I'm rolling in money - I've got a house and a wedding to save up for.

sorry to hear about your money problems, hopefully this new job will start brining in the cash, and the wedding is not that far away really now so after that things should level out a bit more, i think i will have to look into a plane ticket to try and get it as cheap as possible.

i thought the MX5 seemed nice, but you know it better than i do. you could get some real poke from a micra if you stripped it etc, just leave two seats in there it will go like a rocket.

but it will get better, cars are something that can wait, there are loads out there so nothing to worry about

Well, Winston the MX5 has now gone onto a new home after our short and turbulent relationship together! Let's hope he gives his new owner less jip than he gave me, now I've flipping fixed every thing on him.
The bill to get the ABS fixed came to £195, so not as bad as I was thinking, but still not great!

Still another MX5 and Micra are on the cards once money starts getting better :)

Yeah a Mk1 will be on the cards! However it won't be like that one - that's too low and wide for me! I want a lower stance than standard but not enough to ruin the handling! Unfortunately, people put these massive wheels, camber, and lows on MX5s, but all it does is mess up the geometry!

But makes it look sexy!
