That should be ok if it comes ready-mapped for you. You might want to get a larger cat-back exhaust and backbox, intercooler (Could make your pulsar vent a functioning one! - cut down the pulsar spoiler too and make a micra GTi-R!).

Well i am going to get the above, ive got a larger back box and will make a de-cat for the 2000 model, also my pulsar vent has been fitted and cut out so i will fget a top mounting intercooler.

Oh and i told te insurance company about it and apparently it will cost me 400 quid more lol with one years no claims, as my insurance will run out before this is complete anyway. Apparently there are alot of cars coming out with turbos and that it won;t affect my car that much with it being such a small turbo lol. Anyway got to start somewhere with forced induction so may aswell be a small turbo. Then eventually a set up like jasons.

I'm hoping to plod along for a few years saving up for aother car so that in 4 years i can do a serious engine conversion but for now i'm happy to plod and play lol.

Thats all well and good shr3k.

But

A) you need to pay your dad for the rest of the car

B) you need to make it so it passes the MOT

C) I need to be paid :p

D) You need the money for that parts and the labour to fit it.

E) it would be wise to buy all the engine stuff all at the same time as you want to make sure you have all the correct parts that fit correctly.

Plod along you may but pc plod will be after you when you go a cruising.

Just my 2 pence (Well what would be my 2 pence seeing as im broke.)

shr3k no dissrespect m8 but maybe it would be better to learn to walk before you can run m8..............all good things come to those that wait..............no point doing all that if you cant insure it..........dont declare it and you run the risk of no insurance if you have a bump.............build up your no claims wait till your a little older then play.................you can still make your car look the part and its not all about speed............remember the tortise and the hare..................

Start small and make sure you can finnish what you start i.e dont run out of cash mid flow and keep in mind the insurance man.

i do,

in the end they both got eaten!!

or was that the story of the chineese dinner last night :S

either way he is correct.

Concentrate on the looks like you were going to.

its no good doing a half arsed job when if you wait a little bit extra you can get a propper job ! (Excuse the cornish accent, i live in plymouth so we kinda do it somtimes :p)

Get a banging sound system, make it look nice then do the engine mods!!

And seeing as i can do most of the sound system and the looks you will save money.

Just SAVE!!!!!!

I was only thinking of getting the bits while i can lol, And seeming davey c had a good setup well 2 good setups, he kinda the man tbh lol.

But yeah, jackass, weekend we need to sort exhaust and bonnet m8 :D Once thats done start the long and drawn out process of smoothing, filling and other bits and bobs for jae!
