59 bhp is more than enough

nah cg10 pistons are flat instead of slightly dished with the cg13 which raises compression ever so slightly. i was thinkin of using them for mine but i think they will melt with the power i want. yeah will be good to get a benchmark for an N/A tuned cg13de. course mine is a cga3de so cant really compare if you beat me lol

ian if you want to go mentalisitic there is one option..... impul ecu for k11 raises rev limit to 10k, i have seen them for sale on jap sites they go for around £650

8700 normally actually :)

and the impul ecu will not work on a later model ecu, they will only work on our early type, or any march import.

and for the cost, well........

no sorry the tomie is high compresion so it will raise the compression abit.. the pistons might need valve reliefs grinding into them then..

all i want is the limiter raised and then let the piggy back sort out the rest..

so does no one know where i can get the facelift limiter raised??

it depends how long you want to wait, i will have a solution in the next month or so, ed may be able to help, but im not 100% sure of the e-manage ultimates possibilies on the k11.

i thought you werent doing them anymore dude i dont want it instant but it would be nice within a few months.. im 99% sure the e-manage carnt cut the rev limiter i think it can do the speed limiter..

The easy solution to this is to alter the wiring so a pre-nats ecu will fit, then you can put a romboard on it with a raised limiter. Then put an e-manage blue. I am not sure if the e-manage ultimate will fit since the K11 CAS is a rather odd one.

Yes it will be easy, most of the wires are in the same place.

good idea, then you can easily wire in emanage blue and get a raised rev romboard.

just a quick question, if nissan have set the limiter at 6.5k or there abouts, how much can you push this up and still be reasonably safe without damaging internals?

I could do with a new rev limit as well cos my mods just keep on going and a few extra revs would be great.

ian, i have never stoped doing the ecu work, just stopped MH.

if you waited i will have the later ecu's sorted, no problems

if you were to wire in the older type ecu, i could sort your rpm limit problem out, i would have to alter the fueling and timing maps anyway so you wouldn't need the e-manage.

hmmm... ideas ideas....

i can get someone to make up a carbon one if you like?

speak to "hansell technologies" or www.carbon-fibre.com or fibre lite (same company) and theyle do anything you ask them to..

i might pinch that idea for mine, (although alter it slightly for my car..)

that exhaust must be realy noisy...

i mean, no back box... straight through?...

and im realy thinking about the diffuser..... if i get a facelift rear bumper and take the gray plastic bit out of the bottom, a diffuser simalar to yours should fit... all beit smaller..

so i would have a 1994 super S bumper in AJ4 for sale and wanting a 1.0 1998 onwards rear bumper in aj4 red....... but in just playing for now..

any updates?

his exhaust is extreamely loud!!!
i thought about taking the grey bit out of the bumper, but you'd need a bumper off a >2000 micra, 98-2000 is like ians above.
ian has taken the bumpers to his house to finish them off and get em ready for painting. so hopefully he should have some pics soon!

what i love about ians setup is that the handling is totally sorted the brakes are spot on which means you can rag it senseless without worrying about loosing control.

i wish i had good brakes!!

anyway poeple have been banging on about GC13 auto blocks being stronger than than non auto blocks so having got one of eachf or the enw build i striped them down and have conclusive proof of which is better if any...
manual CG13 :-

and now the auto block :-
Image016.jpg

as you can see there are aditional suports to the cylinder liner.. i was amazed when i took the gasget off andsaw it as i was goign to have the same thing done anyway but i got it for free lol so there is your proof auto blocks should be stronger than the manuals :D whilst its not a completly closed deck its better than notihng :D
