Not really made a blog yet so thought id give it a go!
Probably wont be really long so dont expect much..

.. So when i bought it, it was lets say.. feeling a bit sorry for its self!

Here are a few pictures to show why:

So after a good ''attemptive'' clean.. she was starting to look a bit more neater with a few new bits and peices added!

Then as some of you may know from reading a post or two from me before.. i stumbled on what appeared to be the faeces of an alien in my engine bay! fwn

Im still yet to find the ###### and possibly knowing my lucky may have to return it to the nearest ''pokemon centre'' .. :wasntme:

Well anyway cracking on.. i made a few more bits a peices cleaner, including a semi/half car polish/t-cut and a black grill!

Also in there you will notice some clear side repeaters!.. yea they were added to. (Y)

I then received my new grill off Martinb! I think it looks alot nicer!.. (alot nicer than the other old semi sparyed crappy grill anyway:glare

If you look youl notice it didnt exactly sit super flush with the bonnet.. thats because i got a bit impatient with trying to fit the clips and just left it for a while untill someone with a bit more patience than i could help me out lol.. But alas it looks alot more of a decent fit now and came out preety nice! (il get a picture of it at some point)

I have Also added new headlight/sidelight/interior bulbs! IMO they are alot better/smarter than the ones i had in before. Sadly i havnt got any pictures of them as of yet but again will have hopefully soon

.. After a few weeks or so of pearing under my bonnet at the engine bay i decided to give a go at painting my cam cover slightly! i was quite impressed with it actually and this is how it turned out:

It suited fairly well.


Well thats it for now folks as i havnt really done much else as of yet! even tho i look at the micra most days and think ''hmmm.. what shall i do today'' but nothing really ever seems to cross my eye thats within price reason or knowledge that i dont really have yet! lol

Im open to opinions and everything you'd maybe like to see different or extra plans that i can/could carry out in the future!

For me its just superb! shame i havnt passed tho just yet as theory test has tended to be a bit of a ballache!

Also managed to get a pioneer headunit in and TRD gear knob but we dont worry about that so much as i have no pictures yet

Well.. yea thats it for now, i will improve on this in the future!

Thats looking quite nice, im shocked that the petrol filler cap makes the car look really nice, i want a white micra now lol i also like the cam cover, once you sprayed it all, how did you paint the writing on it? just with a brush?

yeh like, you could take seats carpet out for a quick rinse out,, done this to my k10 micra and it turned brand new inside
maybe worth waiting till spring summer now,,,,,thats what um waiting for
no sunroof?

Yea mate, got backs aswell which are 33mm.. i may just leave them both at that height to be honest, dont want to ruin them by cutting them but it would be nice to go lower

Hi all, breif update!

Just got my corsa coilovers! also some curved masking tape as im going to re-paint the wheels with a white rim

I cant upload any pics as im using a ####e phone, but now comes the task of trying to fit them!

yes, it is legal, the light beam can be either white or yellow

never seen classic or import with yellow lights?

thanks mate, i have yeah i didnt know it was legal though, because i was told that 3000k HID's were illegal and they shine yellow, but aslong as the film passes mot i think ill be putting that on my k11!
btw the car looks great mate! how did she sit on 35's?

As far as i know its legal yea boss! will probably get fround upon by the police around here cause half of them are idiots but so so lol, Ive got brighter bulbs in off ebay aswell so its preety decent to be fair!
As for the 35s there preety basic.. infact ive been fiting 'B coilovers since yesturday and should be done hopefully tomorrow (Y)

Its Corsa B's on the front and cut Tein springs on the back

And yea im gonna take the tow hooks off, as they have already had a fight with the drive..... lol!

Mark - Its just gonna be a refurb and repaint for the the steels mate, wish a fresh white lip!

There's a brake bias valve connected to the rear axle, when the rear of the car drops when carrying a heavy load it adjusts the valve to allow greater braking force to the rear.

When you drop the rear it does the same, only there isn't the extra weight in the back to stop the rear wheels locking up. With decent tyres on a dry road you might not notice, but you could get caught out if its a bit greasy and someone in front does something stupid - like pull out in front of you. Read the last page of my tourquoise LX blog.

PollyP has put a post about adjusting the valve actuating rod in the guides section.

ooo reminds me of when I fitted mine. Get ready for the priceless looks you get from the vw croud! But as said before adjust the brake bias valve, I tried an emergency-stop after fitting the coilies and the back locked up and started to crab, is fine now after adjusting.
