I am thinking of lowering my micra but want to stiffen it up abit what sort of suspension are people using an where is the best place to purches this thanks

I'm using Corsa C coilovers on the front
Polo 6n coilovers for the rear.

15 x 6.5 et40 Rota Grid alloys with 195/50/15 Toyo T1R

Did the car handle any better with that suspension set up and did you need to adjust the panhard rod

oh yea of course it improved handling compared to the boaty standard susp, that was the point of getting it.
I had whiteline swaybars on stock suspension beforehand which reduced bodyroll and understeer but once I fitted the bilstein kit it massively reduced the pitching/squatting and further improved the bodyroll n handling.
I fitted a whiteline panhard rod to keep the axle centred n pointing straight.
