Needs a new cv joint, rear drop links and tires for now. Oh and it is allready decat-ed and has a mushroom filter.

Changed the CV joint yesterday:

And cleaned everything with a wet vacuum cleaner.

Next update will be from a trackday on this track :

Did my first track day in the micra. The car did well apart from a slight dizzy problem (the tape that removed the rev limiter melted and the car wouldnt go over 3000rpm). We sorted that out and i did some more laps before it started to rain. I do need better tires as these are #### :) The inner wheel keeps spinning and the rear end has no grip and comes around to fast :)

Here are the results:

Everything leans on this track even a clio RS (watch pic's bellow) ...Well there is a imprezza with in-car adjustable suspension that doesn't lean but everything else does. So im not in a hurry for uprated ARB-s. Ill rather go for some stiffer lowering springs and stiffer dampers.

Keep up the great work!

I agree, very cool and arty (Y). I got some revenge for you this morning though for your wheel, approaching 70mph this morning on the way to work and a pair of fat wood pidgeons flew right out in front of me. Now I love woodies but I couldn't avoid the second one. BOOM! and a perfect sphere of feathers about 8 feet in diameter - perfectly square hit so it didn't suffer . Just got to wash the huge patch of pidgeon dust off the front tomorrow .

Cant really say yet because i have only driven 10km or so. And it takes around 100-200km for the protective layer to wear off. Ill report next week and on 1.7.2011 when im doing a trackday again :)

Ok, thanks mate. I have some Falken 912 tires too (185/55R14), and they seem a bit soft for me...

ive got some on my mr2. reccomended very highly.

i have done over 12,000 miles on mine before i needed new rears. the fronts have donbe over 20,000miles and are still like new! (195,55,15 and 225,50,15)

Changed the oil today. Decided to try Motul X-cess 5W40. Very pleased with it for now. No more chain noise during coasting above 4000rpm :)

Still waiting for frank's bushes to arrive. And then there is the law is Slovenia wich is stupid. You have to have them fitted at a shop and they must give you a piece of paper that say they are a qualified mechanics etc and give you a stamp, then you must have a printout of the settings when you get you wheel alighment done (wich you must) and then TUV certificate. Then you take this to a shop where they review these papers, take photos of springs and then give you a homologation card on wich it say's that you have these springs installed. And you must have this card to pass MOT and to not get a 400€ fine by the police....:glare:

Did another track day on friday. The time is worse than las time fwn i guess the tires arent fully bed in yet...

timeattack-rezultati-5-1.png

And my times lap by lap. Didnt do to many fas laps because i was had to move over for faster cars  Look at laps 13 and 14 tho (Y) That was with a 100kg passenger onboard.

Rolls much less now also no dipp when braking or nose lift when accelerating :) A good mod :)

Awesome, I still remember the day I fitted the -35mm Spax to my K11. Went for the longest drive ever it was so good (Y).

Loving it mate, that looks sweet, much better stance on those springs (Y). Amazing how much of a difference it can make in terms of looks and handling :grinning:. The wheels aren't really to my taste, but I have to admit they don't look half bad against the red bodywork. Top ride man, looking forward to the next update :grinning:
