I want to make my grill single like this car (I have a facelift too) but I don't want to do any filling and painting. I've come up with a way to do it:
1. Take out old chrome/ black grills and take off the badge.
2. Cut central part of bonnet but leave the bit that covers the bonnet catch. (sand and smooth).
3. Use plastic trim to go over the edge and make a nice boarder around the grill.
4. Add grill mesh using adhesive/ties/bolts/puff pastry.
Any thoughts? Anyone done this? What do you think of using a plastic trim for the edge of the grill? Will it look silly?
