Rocker cover gasket

Hi,
I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.
Apparently the rocker cover gaskets are rubber, am I right in thinking that I won't need to replace it if I take my rocker cover off unless I break it?
Also it is just 2 bolts holding it on isn't it?

Should be fine. Got my cover off (carefully) and the gasket didn't break. They are rubber though (assuming the K10 is the same) and quite delicate, but do it slowly and you should be ok. Unless it is cream crackered I would imagine it is fine to re-use.

normally I'd just replace it but i'm having trouble getting one.

u will find it hard to brake it its very robust

Re-use it if it looks good enough. And breaks or perishment and it would need changing.

get these from nissan for about £5 most of the time they never need replacing like pauls said very hard to break

thanks I might get a new one anyway, just to keep as a spare, should I ever need one.
