Removing Steering Wheel Airbag....

I have my Sports wheel, I have the Tamper Resistant Torx bits, I have all the things needed........
BUT can I get the f*&£ing bolts to even BUDGE? Can I my BOTTOM!! So, does anyone have any advice on how to get the bolts undone so I can get the airbag off, and then change the steering wheel? I may yet end up hacking at it with the grinder if I can't get the buggers undone.

Are you using a flipping big breaker bar? I've no idea how tight they are supposed to be but I can't image they are torqued down too tightly... Probably some threadlock that needs cracking off. Sorry that doesn't really help does it...

I think a 2' Breaker Bar may be the only way, but as they look like they're brass or something I'd guess the splines would come off the bolt before the sealant cracked!

I think they are just yellow passivated steel, so should take a fair but of grunt.

t50 torx i beieve and a lot of grount and they pop off
