k11 high revs for 10 seconds after stopping

hi all. I have had my k11 for 7 mth and ive been sorting it out bit by bit. Im on the biggest problems them being, after I stop at lights or anywhere the car takes about 10 seconds to rev down after revving higher then I was driving, also I have a flat spot after changing gear when giving it hard throttle. any help would be a god send, hopefully its all d.i.y stuff.

Dean most probably there's something interfering with the maf sensor on the throttle body..Mine did tend to over-rev and when i got to look at it i found the plug going to the maf sensor wasn't plugged in!(ooops!)Maybe take a look or even have your maf sensor changed,i managed to find a couple of sensor on e-bay.(not expensive)
