K11 airflow sensor on Bosch throttle body. HELP PLEASE!

Hi, I have a k11 1.0 s that is running very badly, erratic response to throttle, baulking, won't accelerate and is virtually undriveable.
If I unplug the connecter from the airflow sensor it seems to drive pretty normal although I haven't driven far like it.
I done the Haynes bit, and I have battery voltage and 5v where I'm supposed to.
I can't be sure of the reading on the sensor, Haynes says reading across terminals 1 & 3 should be .09 to 43 ohms. I don't know how to read my meter sadly it has scales of 20m 2m 20k 2k and 200.
at 20k it displays 2.15 I have no idea what this figure is.

If anyone can tell me if this is in limits I would appreciate it.

If anyone can tell me if it's normal to be able to drive with the airflow sensor disconnected I would appreciate that too. (It may not be on 'normal' cars, but this isn't 'normal', as I will divulge later, but for now it will just cloud the issue.)

Thanks ev'one! (Y)
